The Definition of Insanity

There are a million titles I could have used for this post:

Practice makes perfect.

Glutton for punishment.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Misery loves company.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends.

But for whatever reason, referencing Albert Einstein’s (but maybe not?) famous quote seemed to make the most sense.

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”

Good thing I never claimed to be sane.

Without further ado, I present today’s “Wordless Wednesday.”

parenting, parenthood, pregnancy, dad and buried, funny, humor, dad bloggers, daddy, bloggers, mommy bloggers, fatherhood, motherhood, children, family, lifestyle, stress, babies

Expect more swearing. And drinking.

Oh god the drinking.

  1. Congrats!!!! If I could send you a case of beer I would, but I bet the mailman would drink it 😉 or actually I would send a keg, haha

  2. I think the appropriate thing to say is “congratulations!” and based on experience, may I suggest you (and everyone else) stop at two. One for each arm if you’re left alone to manage both of them. Trust me. Two can be lots of fun, and I promise, they do start to get along after oh, um, the youngest is in their mid-sixes (at least in my case), but it still has its hit-n-miss moments as all siblings do. So yes, I am thrilled at the notion of more Dad and Buried fodder for us to entertain ourselves with… thanks!
