Podcast Episode: Father’s Day

I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but this Sunday is Father’s Day. Yeah, dads get a day too, I’m as weirded out as you are.

But we are parents too, after all, some might even say equal partners in this whole debacle. Not me though. You can stuff your parenting equality in a sack! I want no part of it. I am plenty satisfied with my low bar, thank you very much.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I don’t really care about Father’s Day. But I may be alone on this one. My podcast partner Pete (alliteration!) loves Father’s Day. In fact, he calls it “the best day of the year” because he grew up in England and has never hard of a little thing I like to call “not Sunday.”

In this week’s Father’s Day edition of the Dad and Buried podcast, we get into why he likes it so much, what many of you plan to do to celebrate it this weekend, and why I did not have fun at sleepaway camp.

We discuss the amazing message one of our listeners’ kids gave to his dad for Father’s Day, and trust me, you will be jealous. And we even get into the great Dad and Buried DILF mug controversy! Thanks for nothing, Mother Octopus!

We got a lot of great comments about this topic and incorporated a lot of them, so take some time before you give your dad or your husband or yourself that snazzy new tie and give it a listen. You can even watch it below!

Watch and/or listen below (all the podcast links are beneath the video)! It’s a fun one!
